DNS Hosting – Terms and Conditions

  • All costs incurred by domain application, registration or renewal with an Internet Service Provider or Registry will passed on to the customer
  • Domain transfer fees will be charged at the relevant registry rates and passed on to the customer
  • Invoicing will be annually and followed up periodically
  • Customers will be informed of any changes to hosting costs 1 month before their annual anniversary invoicing date
  • Updates to domain resource records will be actioned following verification of a formal request
  • CoSector regular scheduled maintenance period is: 0700 to 0900 hours (GMT/BST) on Tuesdays
  • CoSector reserves the right to perform emergency maintenance without prior notification, should it be deemed necessary to protect and maintain the security and integrity of the Service
  • Our target availability for the Service is 99.9%. If CoSector fail to meet this target CoSector will undertake to seek a resolution to improve the performance to an acceptable level

  • When a customer registers an “ac.uk” domain they also enter into an agreement with Janet(UK), their terms and conditions can be found at https://www.jisc.ac.uk/domain-registry
